Gifts That Pay Income
Charitable Gift Annuity
A charitable gift annuity is a type of financial gift that allows you to make a donation to Beth Jacob Legacy Fund while also receiving payments for yourself or a named beneficiary. This popular giving option provides immediate tax benefits, helps you support the Shul, and lets you create a legacy that will live on long after you're gone.
Charitable Remainder Trust
A Charitable Remainder Trust is an estate planning tool that can be used to benefit both you and Beth Jacob. It allows you to donate assets to a trust, which will then be used to provide income for you or your beneficiaries. The remainder of the trust's assets will go to Beth Jacob Legacy Fund when the trust ends. This can be a great way to support BJLF while also providing financial security for yourself or your loved ones.
Charitable Lead Trust
A charitable lead trust is a trust wherein the grantor gives a fixed amount of money or assets to Beth Jacob Legacy Fund for a set period of time. After that period ends, the grantor or their heirs receive the remaining principal and interest. This provides generous annual support for BJLF now, removes the asset from the estate, and passes an asset to heirs with little or no tax.
