Donor Designated Funds
Donor Designated Funds
A designated fund allows a donor to specify how or where their legacy gift will be used by Beth Jacob, and funds may be disbursed only for the specified purpose. The following are the categories one may designate:
General operations
Education (e.g., adult, youth, early childhood, outreach)
Rabbinic support (e.g., professional development, resource materials, travel, sabbaticals)
Spiritual activities and religious items (e.g., sifrei Torah, seforim, siddurim, sanctuary and Beis Medrash physical needs)
Building improvements and capital assets
Programming
Donor Named Funds
A Donor Named Fund can be established in memory or in honor of someone, and can be used for any of the above purposes. Minimum legacy to create a named fund is $50,000.
A designated fund provides a consistent stream of income for a specific program or initiative at Beth Jacob that you care about—forever.
